(via DJ Wildhoney) Vomito Negro just finished their new studio album "Death Sun". It will be out early 2014 on Dark Dimensions Label Group (Europe) and January 2014 by Metropolis Records (USA).
Says Gin Devo: "Death Sun' is the story about a nation controlled and owned by the industrial complex, a revolt against a nation who want to take away our liberties.
In other words, it is about the military industrial complex who fights terror, and at the same time provides those terrorists with weapons and money. And it's also about people who are detained without a reason, who did nothing wrong, they just disappeared, and will never see the sun again.”
Recently keyboarder Sam Devos (For Greater Good, Dreamwash, All Bear And Fox) was replaced by Pieter David (NTRSN). Frontman Gin Devo and Pieter David already worked together before on the project Størung (a side-project of Gin Devo featuring Vince Peterson and other guests). Vomito Negro will play next month live concerts in Berlin, Munchen, Sao Paolo, ...
