'Iron Sky The Coming Race', the sequel to the Nazi pastiche 'Iron Sky', reaches funding goal on IndieGoGoPosted on 11/07/13
The sequel to the Nazi-pastiche "Iron Sky" (2012), which will again have Laibach scoring the OST, has reached its funding goal on IndieGoGo. The people behind the film, launched an IndieGoGo crowdfunding campaign in order to secure enough own finances for the production. They have raised no less than $182,557 of their $150,000 goal in 57 days with 3517 individual funders. We already helped out by buying some perks because we absolutely loved the first movie. You can see the IndieGoGo campaign trailer they have used for this crowdfunding campaign below.
With the funds, they will be writing the script for the film, shoot at 3-4 minute promo to be released next year and come up with a sound production and financing plan for the film.
More news later! A "thank you" video from the director of Iron Sky The Coming Race, Timo Vuorensola, and the producer Tero Kaukomaa, can be found below too.
