Hooverphonic joined by 3 extra singers for new album

Hooverphonic is getting bigger. No less than 3 young male singers will assist Hooverphonic's Noémie Wolfs on tour. In a reaction to Flemish newspaper Het Nieuwsblad, Hooverphonic's Alex Callier explains why he chose 3 extra singers: "After the album 'Hooverphonic with Orchestra' I was really getting tired of using strings. This time I wanted to put more emphasis on the vocals. We held auditions and these 3 fantastic singers came out. They will be joining us on tour next year."

It's not the first weird turn in the recent Hooverphonic chapter. The band has been recording part of their new album at fans' houses located in Belgian cities such as Gentbrugge, Hasselt or Boom but also in Champagne (France). The band is also keeping up a video diary about their most recent recording process.

A first single should be out in September with an album out by mid-November.
