The best electropop album for 2012 ? 'Dangerous Game' from Electro Spectre is your best bet !Posted on 12/09/12
In the past few years, Side-Line has been following one particular electropop band from quite closeby, namely the Norwegian electronic pop/rock duo Electro Spectre. Three years after the Crab Key Records released debut "Watch It All Turn", Electro Spectre are back with the brand new album "Dangerous Game", out now on iTunes.
Production wise the duo consisting of vocalist Alexander Björneboe and musician Isak Rypdal has gone more poppy but also quite a lot darker as you can hear on this trailer for the band's album.
We have had this album in our playlist for a few months now after receiving an advance copy of the master and were blown away by the quality of it. Strong vocals, catchy and moody melodies that will knock over most if not all of the other (better known) electropop bands. For us this is one of the - if not the - best electropop album(s) from this year and we can only warmly recommend this Scandinavian product to you.
