Hultsfredsfestival in Sweden - June 14-16

(By our Swedish correspondent Beppe Betong) - Thursday this week is the start of the Hultsfredsfestival in Sweden, and this year's artists are mostly indie bands like Justice, M83, Familjen, The Cure, Stone Roses, Garbage, The Cardigans, ... The festival is between 14-16 of june in the small but quite beautiful city of Hultsfred.
The first Hultsfredfestival took place back in 1986, and was started by Rock Party, a company which no longer exists because of bankruptcy in 2010, when they were about to celebrate their 25 years in business. Since the bankruptcy the german concert promoter FKP Scorpio took over and arranged a festival in 2011 which was a really nice festival with a fine balance of all music genres. But as we said earlier, this year the focus seems to be back more on indie bands though.
