Stockholm/Gothenburg based Moonlight Cove return with second album 'Hearts of the World'Posted on 16/04/12
The swedish Stockholm/Gothenburg based synthpop trio Moonlight Cove will release their second album "Hearts of the World" on May 9th. There's a 10 minute long snippet from the upcoming album available now right here or after the jump. The synth pop the band delivers reminds us quite a lot of the early work from Iris. It isn't surprising that the band says they are influenced by A-ha, Iris, De/Vision or yet Elegant Machinery.
Good to know, the band's first album "Orphans of the Storm" was nominated for "Best Synth" at "Manifest" in 2009 (won by Elegant Machinery).
The "Hearts of the World" album is self-release through the band's own label Kinetophone. "Hearts of the World" will be released digitally (Spotify, iTunes, etc) and as a limited edition digipak CD. You can pre-order this limited edition digipak CD right here.
Moonlight Cove is a trio consisting of Markus Landgren (vocals), Mattias Löfroth (synths) and Marcus Karlsson (synths).
