Dark Side Cowboys are back after 6 years of silencePosted on 12/03/12
The swedish alternative/gothic rock band Dark Side Cowboys have broken the silence and are to play live again, at Nostalgifest in Malmö, Sweden, an event organized by Neostalgia (order tickets here).
Dark Side Cowboys formed in 1993 in northern Sweden. They released 6 studio albums and a bunch of singles and EP's between 1995-2003. With songs like the "New Religion" single (2001), the single of the year 1998 (Zero Mag) "UnfortuNathalie" and "Bloodred Moon" (1995), Dark Side Cowboys are one of the most well known Swedish band in the gothic rock genre.
The Cowboys toured intensly up until 2003 when the band gave a 10 year anniversary concert and then didn't appear live until 2006. The current line-up of the band is kept a secret for the moment but lead vocalist and founder of the band Nik, is still along.
Also back is former guitarist VigilAnte. For the Malmö show the Cowboys promise a concert where they will perform material from their first albums, along with some brand new written songs.
