Malakwa prepare new video and it won't be safe for work !Posted on 26/01/11
Side-Line got hold of some stills from the new video by French electro punk terrorists Malakwa. Malakwa are currently shooting their 2nd video clip "Make up your rules" and those who look closely will recognize the Tamtrum gang adding an extra +18 touch to the whole. The band expects the video, shot by Fabien Laubry, to be ready for February 25 when the band is releasing its 2nd album "Street preacher" (available as a CD and 2CD).
The "Make up your rules" video is being shot with a team of no less of 15 people. The first scenes were shot in an abandoned garage in the middle of a forest where a gang houses led by Purple (Garage Babe). And it's also there where we find Benoit and Sylvain from Tamtrum displaying their best behavior. While Mat is being taken hostage, Flux is trying to rescue her. Expect exploding heads, intestines, hot babes (both Malakwa and Tamtrum have a good taste we must admit - check the Tamtrum beauties in the booklet of their last album "Fuck You I'm Drunk / Stronger Than Cats" for instance), etc.
The inspiration for the video is taken from the gore pictures from the 80ies; add to that some Robert Rodriguez influences and you know what to expect. The video is shot in HD with a 5D (Canon). The band hopes to wrap up the whole by January 30th 2011.
Hailing from Marseille - South of France, Malakwa is a revolted crossover combo who fuse electro machine sounds with crossover assaults and distorted vocals. The band has over 150 live shows under their belt and toured in all corners from France, China, Germany, Switzerland, etc.
