The must have release for you according to Side-Line

A fresh load of reviews has been posted in the Side-Line review section. We picked out those releases that caught our attention the most. We know off with some Gothic which is still more or less alive and with a new album of The Mission we get one of the biggest 'servants' in the genre striking back. Released by Oblivion/SPV Records the album “Dum Dum Bullet” proves that the band is still alive and inspired!

The industrial lovers will be pleased to read the multiple new releases on Hands. Next to a few known and recognized artists like Maschinenkrieger KR52 vs. Disraptor and Shorai we get interesting productions from 2 new projects. 16Pad Noise Terrorist and Nullgrad have both released impressive debut-albums! Watch out for it! Hands has also launched their latest volume of "Forms Of Hands", which remains a great label compilation.

The French label Steelwork Maschine has launched a few number of interesting release in the industrial and dark ambient vein. One of the most noticeable projects is Westwind, which released the "Ravage"-album and the even more fascinating "Eliminate Exterminate Eradicate" EP. Westwind composes an industrial style with multiple influences like ambient and experimental on top.

Let's stay in France with the label M-Tronic and their subdivision D-Monic. M-Tronic used to surprise the most demanding electro freaks with original electronic compositions. Among the new releases we got a fabulous new album of Curl entitled "We Are Complex". This album released on D-Monic is a real great piece of music that will appeal for fans of Curve and Ladytron.

And we stay in France with Citizen Records, which remains THE reference in terms of intelligent technoid music. As an appetizer to their announced 2nd full length, the "Tonton Funk" EP from Teenage Bad Girl is an overwhelming piece of music.

Front 242, the 'grandfathers' of EBM have released a new DVD on Alfa-Matrix. "Moments In Budapest" is a live-DVD showing the first performance ever from the Belgian band on the Magyar soil. As a bonus to the DVD comes an interview with Richard 23!

From EBM to dark electronic music and the astonishing new opus of Noisuf-X released by ProNoize. If the dark electro scene is a little bit stagnating, Noisuf-X is only making progression! "Excessive Exposure" is terrific and pure dancefloor food!

Infacted Records has released a few number of releases as well. Orange Sector remains one of the incontestable leaders of good-old EBM. The fans of the genre will enjoy their "Krieg Und Frieden". Another band to watch is Shiv-R. This is one of the latest signatures on Infacted. The album "Hold My Hand" is a nice piece of dark electronics.

The best surprise on planet electronics comes from Cryo. Their 2nd cd "Hidden Aggression" is one of the most refreshing, progressive and intelligent albums from the past few months! This is an album to watch out for!

Another interesting release comes from Tying Tiffany. This new band signed by Trisol has launched the "People's Temple" album, which offers a well-crafted cocktail of electronic ideas and sounds.

Synthpop is back on track and we here have to mention the French band Neutral Lies. The album "A Deceptive Calm" released on Boredom Product sounds in the purest tradition of the label and will not disappoint the pop community.

Let's close this overview with the latest releases on CrunchPod. Bitch Brigade is a fascinating discovery launching with "Dendrite" a nice twist between rough electro-pop and EBM while Manufactura's "As They Drown In Their Lies" will appeal for the tougher heads and other electro-industrial
freaks.
