Update: DARPA confirmed Side-Line that they never heard of having funded this project. Side-Line is doing some more research in order to find out if this was a marketing joke from the label and band or not... We thought we had seen everything when it came to interviews, but this one was brand new. The US Military Authorities have decided to censor an interview that was to appear on Side-Line.com. More specifically the interview given by David Thrussell (Black Lung, Snog etc) has been censored and part of the transcript has been removed from being published. The interview handled David Thrussell newest release which was commissioned by DARPA (the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency), which is a funding body of the U.S Government and the Pentagon. The resulting album "Full Spectrum Dominance" got released under the name of Black Lung.

In the interview Thrussell gives some more information on Joint Vision 2020, a program which is basically the underlying strategy behind all U.S military activity or as Thrussell say: "This policy advocates total dominance in all spheres, not merely on the battlefield, but also in all communications, media, propaganda, economics, social structure, individual thought processes etc...it is bold and revolutionary..."
The part that got censored handled the specific preparation and what exactly got recorded. Read the full interview and decide for yourself. (Note that we have contacted DARPA to confirm us that the whole project was indeed commissioned by them. You never know these days when it comes to marketing releases...)
