Update: the show will not be rescheduled after all.
Poor Morrissey, after having to cancel various shows due to illness, he was bottled of stage at the Liverpool Echo Arena causing the show to be cut short. Moz left the stage two songs into the gig at after being hit on the head by a drink thrown from the crowd. He was struck after shaking hands with the audience by, what looks like a plastic water bottle. The attack happened after he had opened with "This Charming Man" and was playing second song "Black Cloud". The former Smiths singer said simply "goodbye" following the incident and left the stage. The concert stopped for around 15 minutes as the crowd chanted his name. About 10 minutes later a crew member announced the concert would not continue. The Liverpool gig will be rescheduled though. See a video of the incident right after the jump !
