Bernard Sumner's Bad Lieutenant to support Pet Shop Boys on UK tour

Bernard Sumner's Bad Lieutenant have been announced as support for the forthcoming Pet Shop Boys UK tour. Beginning in December in Glasgow, the arena tour will also visit Birmingham and Manchester before closing at the O2 Arena in London. The band released their debut album "Never Cry Another Tear" earlier this month. Bad Lieutenant will play the following dates:
- Glasgow SECC (December 17)
- Birmingham NIA (18)
- Manchester Evening News Arena (20)
- London O2 Arena (21)

Bad Lieutenant formed in 2007 and consists of former New Order lead singer and guitarist, Bernard Sumner and Phil Cunningham along with Jake Evans of Rambo and Leroy. Stephen Morris, New Order's former drummer, guests on a number of tracks, as does Blur bassist, Alex James. The band's debut single "Sink or Swim" was released on September 28, 2009, followed by the album "Never Cry Another Tear" on October 5, 2009.
