Rajna appeared on the scene in 1997 and back then consisted of Gérard Chambellant,Fabrice Lefebve and Jeanne Lefebvre. Influenced by oriental culture the band released 3 albums together: "Ishati" (1999), "Yahili" (1999) and "The Heady Wine of Praise" (2001). Right after the 3rd album was released Gérard Chambellant left the band. The following albums followed: "The Door of Serenity" (2002), "Hidden Temple" (2004), "Black Tears" (2005), "Otherwise" (2006) and "Duality" (2008).
Together with Francesco Banchini (Gor, ex-Ataraxia) they also started the project Khvarena. "The Spirit Rises" was released in 2007.
