David Bowie's son Duncan Jones has directed a new science fiction movie, called "Moon", set to be released this summer. Jones (aka Zowie Bowie) recruited "Skins" actress Kaya Scodelario to feature in the film next to Sam Rockwell and Kevin Spacey. Spacey appears as the voice of Gerty, a computer. The space thriller was produced by Stuart Fenegan and Trudie Styler, wife of Sting.

"Moon" is his first feature-length movie and is about the astronaut Sam Bell who has a quintessentially personal encounter toward the end of his three-year stint on the Moon. He is on the moon working alongside his computer Gerty to extract fuel for fusion-powered generators back on Earth to help diminish our planet's power problems.
A release date for "Moon" is set for June 12th, 2009. Below is the trailer of the film.
