Straight from the Chicago underground enters the female fronted solo project Lady Parasyte. Signed to machineKUNT Records Lady Parasyte has collaborated with such artists as Die Warzau and techno legend DJ T-1000 (Alan D. Oldham) contributing vocals to both acts' releases. She also had tracks appear on compilations for Ominous Passions Clothing and Creative Violence Records. After having self released her "Sirens" EP, we now can expect a full length album "Abandoned Places" on which she is collaborating with programmer Mark Black. As it seems Jim Marcus from Die Warzau has expressed an interest in working on it as well. A release is expected for late 2009.
Lady Parasyte describes her music as being a "chaotic but catchy mixture of electro and industrial sounds topped with vocals ranging from soothingly melodic to blisteringly metalesque." MachineKUNT is a new record label for female noise, electronic, and industrial musicians and was founded by Rachel Haywire (Experiment Haywire).
