Some splendid news reaches us from the Collide camp. The Collide song "Head Spin" from the "Two Headed Monster" has been included on the 'NCIS' soundtrack. NCIS is currently the number 1 TV series in the US with around 20 million viewers per week. kaRIN and Statik: "'NCIS' has used Collide's music in Abby's lab since the inception of the show, so we are super thrilled to be included on the soundtrack." The soundtrack is a 2 disc CD with Disc two featuring music from Abby's Lab. Abby (Pauley Perrette), is the perky goth, who works in the forensics lab and listens to 'cool' music, including Collide. All of the music on the soundtrack is set for prominent placement in NCIS episodes beginning in January. Other bands featured on the disc include Ministry, Seether, Skold vs. KMFDM, Nitzer Ebb (with the new song "Promises" you can preview at www.ncismusic.com ), Android Lust and more. Get the double disc right here for just $12.97.
NCIS Executive Producer Shane Brennan had this to say about the track choice: "We've put the same amount of attention and care into the creation of our soundtrack that we do with our show every week. We listened to countless tracks to find the tunes that would not only fit into particular episodes, but would actually help drive our story lines. We couldn't be more thrilled that so many great artists share our vision for integrating music into television and have agreed to offer up new music for our soundtrack. We think the fans will be getting something truly special as a result."
