First new tracks from Noir Désir since Cantat murder case

The French act Noir Désir offers 2 new tracks, "Gagnants/Perdants" and a reprise of "Le temps des cerises", the first new ones since frontman Bertrand Cantat was freed on parole on October 2007 after having served half of his sentence. The singer was convicted to 8 years of prison in Luthuania on March 29 2004 for the murder on his girlfriend, the actress Marie Trintignant. The two tracks can be downloaded on www.noirdez.com .
September 2005 brought the two last releases of their work: the album, "Noir Désir en public", which contains highlights of their last tour and the DVD set, "Noir Désir en images", which contains various live performances footage and videos. Special permission was obtained for the imprisoned Cantat to participate in the development of those. The last 'real' album from the album was the 2001 release "Des visages, des figures". The band is currently signed to Barclay, Serge Teyssot-Gay, the guitarist of the band, told a Swiss paper that the group is planning to produce a new album this winter.
