Erasure to release 'Total Pop! The First 40 Hits'
To be released on the 23rd February 2009 is "Total Pop! The First 40 Hits", a collection of Erasure's first 40 hits which features all the hit singles from Erasure's five no. 1 albums, eight top 10 singles plus a brand new remix of "Always" by Jeremy Wheatley. As well as a double CD package and digital download, "Total Pop!" will also be released as a special four-disc deluxe box set which includes "Pop!" (remastered since its original release), "Pop2!", a live CD and a DVD featuring classic BBC performances from 1986–2005, which includes television performances ranging from "Sometimes" on "Top of the Pops", "Ship Of Fools" on "Wogan" to an appearance on "Later With Jools".

As a teaser, 9th February 2009 sees "Pop! Remixed" to be released which features the brand new Jeremy Wheatley remix of "Always" plus remixes from Vince Clarke, Mark Picchiotti, Manhattan Clique, Komputer and Sweden's Sound Factory.

And here's the band's 1987 mega hit "Sometimes" in between the sheets...
