Out on Distortion Productions is the double CD Compilation "Failed Flesh Saved by Circuits", a benefit compilation for the American Cancer Society. Pittsburgh based Distortion productions is seeking the help of the dark music scene in order to raise awareness of various types of cancer. Distortion president and frontman of EBM band Rein[Forced], Jim Semonik, was diagnosed with a lethal form of cancer on May 1st, 2008. After brutal treatments and a successful surgery, Jim wishes to take his second chance at life by helping those in his shoes. All proceeds from this compilation will go to the American Cancer Society. Jim has been active in the Goth/Industrial scene for the last 15 years and wishes that his heroes can join him in the fight against this deadly disease. The comp will feature 2 discs of exclusive tracks written especially for this record focusing on the pain and loss that so many people have shared because of this infliction.
