In 1992 Gothic Arts Records / Lost Paradise released the Maxi-Single "Smalltown Boy" by Plastic Noise Experience or P.N.E. The release was a huge hit and P.N.E. harsher version of the Bronski Beat hit instantly flooded the dark electro clubs allover the world. Other hits would follow including "Gold", "Ritual" and "One Way Song". Now, 16 years later, Claus Kruse joined up with that other EBM legend Claus Larsen from Leaether Strip to re-record "Smalltown Boy". The smashing result can be heard on the "Re:connected [3.0]" 2CD + DVD boxset to released by the Belgian label Alfa Matrix to celebrate their 7th anniversary. Below is an audiosnippet of the new version.
