Genre Peak (the project by Martin Birke of Casualty Park fame) will release their 2nd studio album "Preternatural" on June 17th. The album features special guest musicians Mick Karn (formerly of Japan), Canadian singer Tara C. Taylor, bassist Gustaf Fjelstrom (Maximum Indifference) and Stephen Sullivan (Robert Fripp/Bill Laswell). Also included are remixes from the Spanish electro-pop group Stereoskop and French pop-trance band Kiss & Fly. The new single "Different Dangers" has been posted on Genre Peak's MySpace page for those interested in hearing the departure sound of the new record. While the new band will not be touring this time around a new high definition video of the track "Hell on the Surface", directed by film maker Jeff Weigt, will premiere in Sacramento, CA. at the Crest Theatre in August.
