Fixmer / McCarthy to launch second album, 'Into the Night'

On May 23d, the SPV sublabel Synthetic Symphony will release "Into The Night", the new album from FM (Fixmer/McCarthy) the duo comprising of French techno producer Terence Fixmer and Douglas McCarthy from Nitzer Ebb fame. This is the second release from the band since the debuted in 2004 with "Between The Devil". With 14 track in total the album does sound a lot more as a finished product with a more melodic sound leaving the classic Nitzer Ebb like tunes away. The fact that Nitzer Ebb itself is back alive can be a good explanation for this move, since the first tracks we heard bring a more old school Nitzer Ebb sound. All in all an excellent way to hear the two faces of Douglas McCarthy at work. Here's the track list:
