Richard H. Kirk (ex-Cabaret Voltaire) announces a rare live audio visual performance, "Subduing Demons", as part of the new Sensoria Festival in Sheffield taking place on Thursday 17th April 2008. "Subduing Demons" is a developing live performance and installation project by Richard H. Kirk which will take place in the Ballroom of the Grosvenor House Hotel. It will utilise three large video screens and will be accompanied by a live soundtrack. Sensoria will take place 12th - 18th April 2008 as a celebration of the art forms of music and film and takes place at various venues in Sheffield. Being the founder member of the pioneering electronic band, Cabaret Voltaire, Kirk has been largely responsible for much of the visual output of Cabaret Voltaire from 1975 through to the early 1990's. In addition to this work, Kirk has released numerous solo albums, under equally numerous pseudonyms.
