Founding member The Sisters Of Mercy unfolds solo album under Nineteen Ninety Five and Nowhere moniker
For those who want to know how The Sisters Of Mercy might have sounded in 1995, here's a chance to do so. Nearly 13 years after first coming into being Nineteen Ninety Five and Nowhere receives its first official release, under the "Nineteen Ninety Five And Nowhere" title, on the French independent label D-monic, which also delivered us the Corpus Delicti re-releases. Coming this Winter in a super-jewel box with 12-pages booklet the album was just recently completed and re-mastered. The 10 track album features songs originally written in 1995 by The Sisters of Mercy co-founder Gary Marx at the invitation of Sisters' Andrew Eldritch. The material was intended to represent the pair's first collaboration since the album "First and Last and Always" of 1984. But Eldritch pulled out of the project before it was even finished. It was only recently that Marx decided to finish the songs himself, writing lyrics and adding his own vocals. The tracklist of this release:

  1. Blindfold
  2. Default
  3. Idiot Nation
  4. 1995
  5. Open Season
  6. Dumb
  7. Black Eyes Faith
  8. Zapruder
  9. Sound And Sound
  10. Blood Moon
Gary Marx (b. Mark Pearman) was The Sisters Of Mercy's lead-guitarist and songwriter from 1980 to 1985. He stepped out of the band in 1985 to form goth/pop/rock combo Ghost Dance, which included ex-Skeletal Family vocalist Anne-Marie Hurst.
