Soft Cell remix album in the pipeline

Soft Cell, the duo consisting of Marc Almond and David Ball, are working on a remix album, "Heat - The Remixes". The remix album is expected to be released in late October and will include classic Soft Cell tracks remixed by such acts as Manhattan Clique, Cicada, Richard X, Ladytron, MHC, Mark Moore, Kinky Roland, Spektrum, George Demure, Yer Man and many more. The band already posted 4 mixes on the official MySpace page launched for the remix album. "Heat - The Remixes" which will be released via Some Bizzare/Universal in late October. Remixes already completed include "Torch", "Heat", "So", "A Man Can Get Lost", "Bedsitter", "Surrender To A Stranger", "Numbers", "Memorabilia" and further remixes are currently in progress to complete the set. There is also a DJ promo 12" available at www.planetclique.net in extremely small quantities featuring the 2 MHC remixes of "Torch". In related news, Some Bizarre Records has plans to re-release the band's albums "Non-Stop Erotic Cabaret", "Non- Stop Ecstatic Dancing" and "This Last Night In Sodom" in expanded packages. You may expect these releases out in the next 6 months.
