Depeche Mode frontman announces first new solo single

Fresh news from the Depeche Mode frontman Dave Gahan camp. The first single to be pulled from Dave Gahan's forthcoming solo record "Hourglass" will be "Kingdom". According to our info this single will be a download only, though as usual a 7" collector's vinyl release might be considered as well. A video for the single should show up on TV stations by the end of August. The album itself will be released both as a CD and as a limited CD/DVD format. In the meantime Gahan took some time to shoot a pretty absurd videomessage at his 11th Floor Studios in New York City. Also present in the video are Christian Eigner (drums) and Andrew Phillpott (bass and guitars). Don't expect lots of info in the video though except for an instrumental tune as soundtrack.
