Out now via the Belgian label Alfa Matrix (home to such bands as Front 242, ...) in the EU and distributed by KGD in the US is the 4CD boxset "Fuck The Mainstream [vol.1]". This 4CD collection holds no less than 64 bands with over 70% unreleased material all in a deluxe carton box with an extensive 16-page booklet featuring 4 models. The compilation features a mixture of industrial music sub-genres (elektro, gothic, EBM, darkwave, metal crossover, power noise, etc.) and is a mirror of how the current indie electronic scene has developed into a wide spread underground movement which is gaining a lot of attention from the alternative scene in the USA, Germany, the UK, France and so on.
