Primordial Music has released "4 point remixes", an album of remixed tracks from the industrial metal artist Hazmat. The full album is being offered online as a free download from the label's website. With 17 tracks remixed by artists such as Terrorfakt, Life Cried, HypoFixx, Porcupine Defense, The Panic Lift, and Velapene Screen, the album offers a wide range of perspectives on the original material, all of which is taken from the debut album from Hazmat, "4 Point Perspective". "It has been a thrill to have so many talented people collaborating on this," says Matt Collins, the artist behind Hazmat. "It's really the first time I've had my work remixed by anyone else. I originally resisted the idea a bit, but that just shows how stupid I am, because I got such incredible results out of everyone, I'm really just blown away." Many of the artists contributing their talents are fellow Primordial Music artists, including The Complex, and Azrael Trigger. Matt Collins is a founding member of "torture-tech" band Neuroplague, who performed in and around New York in the late ninties, opening for bands like Rammstein, Hanzel und Gretyl, Android Lust and Terminal Sect. In the meantime, Matt has also worked as one half of the gothic, ethereal rock band Depirator and played guitar with Metropolis recording artist Porcupine Defense. Primordial Music is an independent label based in the New York city area since 1997. They are an artist-run collective with a primary focus on darkwave, industrial, machine rock, ebm, and other genres of dark electronic music. They have been releasing music for 10 years, and in the past year, they have released eight full-length albums as free downloads from their website at www.primordialmusic.com .
