Former Frankie Goes to Hollywood members start new band: Forbidden HollywoodPosted on 09/04/07
Former Frankie Goes to Hollywood members Paul Rutherford, Peter Gill and Gerard O’Toole have teamed up to form Forbidden Hollywood including 4th member Ryan Molloy who joined the band after auditions for the Prince’s Trust to celebrate Trevor Horn’s 25 years in music. This summer Forbidden Hollywood will play their first shows performing their new songs along side some of the old FGTH classics (re-worked and extended). Formed in March 2007 this reincarnation of Frankie Goes To Hollywood is actually a way to avoid legal issues with Holly Johnson who has refused to re-unite under the Frankie Goes To Hollywood flag adding that he also did not want the other members to perform as Frankie Goes To Hollywood. The whole ended with a trademark dispute which has still not been resolved. Frankie Goes To Hollywood was one of the most successful bands of the mid eighties and enjoyed much success however all things came to end and in 1987 Holly Johnson left the band to pursue a solo career.

22 years on... who gives a sh*t anyways? Holly Johnson is a stubborn wanker and should just throw in the towel and play what made him famous. No one is clamoring to hear "Americanos" or any of his solo stuff...
