Kirlian Camera changes line-up and creates new project

In a message on their website Kirlian Camera announces that it has changed its line-up. Both Andrea Savell and Andrea Fossi have left the band. They will be replaced by Falk Pitshk and Sarah Crespi, both from Germany. In related news, the Siderartica project from Elena Fossi has been aborted to give birth to the all-girl group Spectra Paris. A first album "Dead Models Society" is being planned at the moment featuring collaborations with Plastic Autumn, Dope Stars Inc., Punto Omega, Y-LU-KO and Polarlicht 4.1/Transistor. To be released by Trisol Music Group in early 2007 it is being described by Fossi as "high class noir-glamour atmospheres of electronic origin mixed to alien visions and hypnotic-futuristic rhythms". A first track can be heard at the band's MySpace page. The band will make its first live appearances during a European tour in the beginning of 2007.
