Massive AttackEMI/Virgin have confirmed yesterday that the newest Massive Attack album will be out in February 2007. The new album, with the working title "Weather Underground", will be the band's 5th studio album to date. Del Naja and Marshall are working independently on the material. While Del Naja will be in one studio with producer Neil Davidge, Marshall will be working from his own studio on the other side of Bristol. Expected to contribute vocals on the album are Dot Allison, Horace Andy, Mike Patton, and Mos Def. In 2006 the band released a greatest hits compilation, entitled "Collected". The two-disc set (one CD and one DVD) included selected tracks from their studio albums, some rare singles, and two new tracks, "Live with Me" and "False Flags".
