The news has been around everywhere since June 24th and on the Side-Line forum it has become very hot news. With lots of rumours being spread by fans and people so-called close to the bands it became rather unclear what was going on. Side-Line gathered some official info that should shed a clearer light on why the Front Line Assembly tour has been cancelled after the Philadelphia show. The news broke loose when the band addressed the crowd a few times during their Philadelphia show saying it was the last FLA show in America. Apparently, the tour bus company they'had been using demanded the band to return the vehicle, forcing them to go home and cancel the last few remaining dates on the US tour. The FLA drummer Adrian confirmed the news in a post on the Side-Line forum saying: "Digger international who handled the bus rental has fucked us. We were lied to since we were told we had a bus until july 6th. which was bullshit. They had planned to leave us in Philly without a bus to do the rest of the tour. They, the driver and tour manager filled us in on the scam last night just before our Philly show leaving us with a couple hours to find transportation for 11 people and all of our equipment..." In the end the band couldn't find another bus in time to make the New York show thus killing the budget for the rest of the tour. The band decided to head home and cancel all other shows in North America. Also Stromkern who supported FLA reported in a similar way about the event adding: "Indeed it's over... the shortcomings of the bus company was just the tip of the iceberg. The root of the problem originated from the booking agency. I'm not going to mention any names here but the booking agency out of Chicago pocketed the deposits and has vanished off the face of the earth." The Vancouver show for FLA will still happen with Conjure One as support. The Edmonton and Calgary shows will be postponed until the band can return to the cities they missed due to this cancellation. You can digg this story here!
