Synthpop act Information Society has released a cassette version of their new album, "_hello world", on Artoffact Records, you can order it right here. The cassette features custom pad-print shell artwork, and also comes with a download coupon for those who no longer have cassette players.
The cassette is available in six separate shell colours: Greeny-grey, Bubblegum blue, (S)Lime green, Pink Bricks!, Caution! Yellow and Off White. A seventh shell colour, dubbed the "butterscotch" cassette because its colour resembles the sugary treat, was released on Cassette Store Day and is now sold out.

Out by mid-December is the Agent Side Grinder vinyl "This is us". On this limited edition 12" vinyl the five piece Stockholm based act brings the title track accompanied by remixes from Daniel Myer (Haujobb, Architect, Destroid and more) and Red Idiot. Out on November 11 via Drakkar is the brand new QNTAL album "VII", their 7th studio album so far. The first edition comes as a limited 6-panel Digipak with special cover-print in 'glow in the dark' ink. It furthermore includes 2 exclusive bonus-tracks ("Melos Lacrimosum" and "Nox Aeterna") next to the 12 album tracks and also has a special 28-pages booklet. This album also marks the album debut for Sarah "Mariko" Newman who previously 'only' supported the band at live performances. Also from the electronic side some things have changed. Leon Rodt is substituting Philipp "Fil" Groth from now on and also becomes the band's producer. And for the first time in the band's history, Michael Popp will appear as singer.
In further QNTAL news, the band's first two albums are being re-released on Chrom.
Qntal was founded in 1991 by Michael Popp and Ernst Horn. They later added vocalist Syrah (Sigrid Hausen) to complete the band. Horn left the group in 1999, to concentrate on his other band, Deine Lakaien. He later formed Helium Vola in 2001. (...)

"Off The Rails" is the newest single from Billie Ray Martin featuring Hercules and Love Affair singer Aerea Negrot. The single is available in all digital stores worldwide since Sunday and via Bandcamp. You can listen to it below.
Included on the 11-track single are remixes by Napoleon, Aerea Negrot and Ray Grant. The track was produced and co-written by Waterson.

Legendary post punk act The Monochrome Set have inked a deal with Hamburg-based independent label Tapete Records, home of Lloyd Cole and Martin Carr, among others. The first album on Tapete Records is scheduled for March 2015 and will be mixed by Timo Blunck, member of the German New Wave bands Palais Schaumburg and Die Zimmermänner.
The Monochrome Set formed in the heyday of Post Punk & New Wave in 1978 in England, first starting to release singles on Geoff Travis' label Rough Trade Records. The most recent lineup consists of Bid, Lester Square and Andy Warren and Steve Brummell. Their last studio album, their eleventh, called "Super Plastic City" was released in October 2013.
