inLinks - paid links or sit and wait for the money to roll in, literally
Here's another program that is worth checking out if you want to earn 'easy' money via your website: inLinks. SEO, or Search Engine Optimisation, thrives on the number of 'backlinks' one can create from a page (containing a specific keyword) to another page. Now, whereas in the past links were literally sold manually, there is now a very easy way to sell links on your website without doing absolutely nothing at all. Well, you just need to install a simple script and that's it really. That's where inLinks comes in.
What are inLinks?
inLinks are static HTML advertisements located within content areas of websites. Having tested various other systems I can say that inLinks is indeed the most natural paid link on the market. On top of it, it is vry easy to install provided your site runs on Wordpress, Drupal, Moveable Type, Joomla or Ruby on Rails although inLinks announces that it will support more CMS software in the future. But having wordpress available is already quite worth it as Wordpress has become the most used blogging software worldwide.

Chitika - get better results than with Adsense
Chitika, Inc. is one of the largest search-targeted advertising networks worldwide which serves over 2 billion (!!) ads per month across more than 34,000 websites. Quite a lot and it remains a mystery to me why so few music websites or blogs have found their way to this great product.
Revenue doubled at Side-Line.com
Using this advertising option for Side-Line magazine, we were able doubling the revenue of Side-Line.com without having to stop any other revenue option such as Adsense to name just the most popular (but not the most effective) one . That's correct, Chitika outperforms Adense by large. At Side-Line.com Adsense was the biggest earner for several years, but the lower and lower payouts per click by Google make this program becoming less and less interesting.
Now, how come that Side-Line still runs Adsense then?
Good question. That's because the Chitika buttons and banners only appear for traffic coming in via Google (US and Canada). That's right, if you live in North America and you search for let's say 'VNV Nation + Side-Line' via Googlesearch, you will see different ads, the Chitika ones targeted to the keywords you were searching for. That particularly targeted traffic seems very interesting for advertisers as they are willing to pay more per click than what you would get via the less targeted Google Adsense ads. And where a click gives you 1 or 2 euro cent from Adsense, you'll easily get the triple if not more for each Chitika click through. Good to know, the CTR (click through rate) of a Chitika ad is the same or even better that the Adsense CTR.
