The swan dress worn by the Icelandic singer Bjork at the 2001 Oscars ceremony is to go under the hammer in aid of Oxfam. The dress is one of many celebrity garments being auctioned off on the charity section of eBay. Bidders will be able to preview some of the items on sale in the window of Oxfam on the King's Road, Chelsea, west London, until September 9, then compete for their favourite pieces online. Famous names such as designers John Galliano and Alexander McQueen and singer/songwriter Patti Smith also donated items which were then worn in a fashion shoot for next month's i-D magazine by models, including Naomi Campbell and Erin O'Connor and Kylie Minogue's dancers.
