Are there any? :-)

But you are right Electrofreak. We Europeans were so spoiled with legendary projects that we did not really have to look across The Big Pond for new music, or so we thought. Please forgive us.

Let me add a couple more:

Ike Yard
The Executive Slacks
Controlled Bleeding
(early) Spahn Ranch
Jon Jon

Not my current preferred style, but I wish these projects kept going, as it's always sad when a project ceases:
Die My Darling
SPF1000
Masochistic Religion
The Dark Aeons

And multitudinous other North American bands that were flourishing during the hey-day of mp3.com and gothicradio.com....

@ electrohead; sadly, matt lives in new zealand now, and has basically completely given up on music. the notion of him teaming up with da5id at this point is entirely unthinkable, i'm sorry to say.

you're STUCK with ME! ;)

NUMB.

Its good to see people remember how solid that shit was. "Blood Meridian" and "Language of Silence" have some of the best production I've ever heard in the electro/EBM genre. Those albums are just murderously rich with nifty production and random noises.

It's a new year, time to beg whatever god you have in your heart for Don Gordon (NUMB) to come back to us. Sadly from the looks of his myspace, David Collings probably wouldn't join him again.

Hate Dept.'s new material from a year or 2 ago sounded like a great return to the old electro sound, but then they fell silent.

Pete from Pygmy Children said a few years back that they were working on new stuff, as well as setting up a website w/ lots of demos and unreleased goodies for everyone but then they fell silent too.

Sphan Ranch's last album was a far cry from what they used to be, love to have them back again (or just Athan singing on something that's not a Frank Sinatra cover).

Scott Sturgis was really onto something with a couple of those Pain Station albums. Converter was my personal favorite of the p-noise style too, so yeah, that guy was always doing something good back in the days, too bad both projects didn't continue.
