Thanks Lunar, you know for some reason I never bothered to check out Project Pitchfork because I always had this assumption that the we're in some way connected with Pitchshifter.

Anybody know of any bands that write lyrics like Tom Shear does?
I really like his style...

Try Necessary Response (Daniel Graves aka Aesthetic Perfection's 'other' project), not terribly similar to A23 lyrically, but treads sort of similar musical territory, and is just damn good all round.

I would recommend:

Mind in a Box (all three albums are good)
Angels and Agony (since they pretty much wish they were A23)
Frontline Assembly (start with Tactical Neural Implant)
Covenant (surely you must have at least tried them by now, though?)
Icon of Coil (since you like Combichrist)
Edge of Dawn (I hated this album when I first got it but suddenly it's one of my faves)

agree with all the names you posted, except A&A

I would also recommend:

Solitary Experiments - Mind over Matter

For Power Noise, I'll also recommend Alter Der Ruine and Manufactura, and add Prometheus Burning.

For female-fronted electro-Industrial, how about The Azoic?

that shows how good A23 is. It just does not fit in that list of bands and is yet at the very top where it should be. Pretty cool.

Give Uberbyte a listen, too.

Suicide Commando and HexRX too, if you like more aggressive industrial/ebm.

Seabound has some poweful lyrics and good music.
Lost Signal is good, but I still think trying to be a bit too much like Assemblage 23.

@ The Black Oil
I dig your recommendations more than the others, though. Been moving more in that direction

'dried blood of gommorah' is also an awesome album.

@CE: I didn't really care for Alter der Ruine or Manufactura, but I still appreciate your efforts.

@Lunar: You were pretty dead on with your recommendations, I enjoyed Project Pitchfork and Rotersand... I also enjoyed Solitary Experiments.
However, VNV Nation sucks...

@Rogue: I had heard of Necessary Response before but never bothered checking them out until you prompted me. Excellent choice.

@Black Oil: Bitcrush wasn't for me, but I'm pretty into Dryft.

@Scrapheap: I enjoyed Mind in a Box and some of A&A, and I had already heard Frontline, Icon and Covenant... But Edge of Dawn is now really high on my list, so thanks for that.

@Rontgen: Again I didn't care for Alter or Manufactura, but I did enjoy The Azoic.

@King Caustic: I've never really been into SC but I did enjoy HexRX and Uberbyte... Although I couldn't find much HexRX that wasn't live.

@TeKslave: I'm not sure if you were being sarcastic or not but I've heard and enjoy Neuroticfish.

@Krush: I'm REALLY excited about Imperative Reaction, thanks a million.

@Cult: Your right, I do love Wumpscut and have for awhile now.

@Reznorb: Two very good choices.

@Sigsaly Transmissions: Also two very good choices...

@Cult again: F/A/V is pretty sick, didn't think I'd enjoy it at first but after some mood elevators I enjoyed it tremendously.

@Wasted youth- ok about :W: (just checking :P )

about F/A/V- Did you get the files from the first album? at first I didn't like them but then they grew on me immensely.

First album and last album are my favorites, but im just getting into the 2nd one.

last album is more standard ebm, but very dark and with better beats than normal ebm.

I find F/A/V's strength lies in the sounds, percussion and beats, but the music is good too.
