I've been cooking something up as well, so look for a new Digital Geist album in 2009. This won't be as techno/trance oriented as the last one, the new tracks are shaping up to sound like a harder Underworld sound. All that's left once the music is finished is saving up for another pressing (unless somebody knows where I can get signed...sigh).

well I've heard about eight or nine rough songs that Stromkern have hammered out so expect to see the record out around the middle of the year and I know Gothsicles have something coming VERY soon, they have been playing out several new songs including what will be their next big hit, Karma Jolt

Bit Riot will release the new Mind Flux Funeral Record in spring and I would expect to see the debut of Breath and Decay come out around that time as well

Once EAR gets rolling, I think the label will start to get a lot of praise. Right now we wait for the Old School Electrogy 4 disc box that will put EAR on the map with IMO the most amazing compilation ever.

All I can tell you is that Andreas (Object), Tomas (Terminal State), Chris (R+T),Magnus, Stefan &Robert (Astma), Ulf &Fredrik (Severe Illusion)and last but not least, Lars & Ronald (Second Disease) are working diligently on their albums.Stay tuned!

same here actually, something about Life Cried makes them have more "soul" and atmosphere over the other bands on that label/sound..one of those rare exceptions that show me a sound I usually dont like CAN be done in a way I enjoy it.

Yeah, the album was supposed to be released a month ago. But the damn thing keeps growing and changing. Now it's 13 original tracks and possibly 3 remixes. So now the release date is appearing to be early to mid January of 2009. In about a week, it will hopefully all depend on how long the mastering plant takes to press the CDs.

I try to complete a new NORM release for next year. It´s probably not the music you will hear or play in clubs, but maybe some people here not only listen to clubmusic.
This would be the 3rd NORM release, after a fulltime-vinyl (Zeithain) and a CD (Was der Mensch braucht). the new one will called "Rites de passage" and hopefully released on Hands Prod., as the others before.
It´s my wish to make it musicwise to a good mix of electronic (mostly atmospheric sounds) and a clarinet - maybe some of you already see this live?

So it´s not really a cooking thing, as I don´t want to announce a clubsmasher thing, but maybe enjoyable for some of you.

I've heard a bunch of new Beborn Beton and it sounds incredible!!! Not sure when the album's supposed to come out though....
