Damn... I missed it.
By the messages on the website, looks like Alex was a rude twat getting all aggressive and screaming and interrupting Peter Joseph all the time. Why every damn neocon interviewer has to act all childish like that? Oct 16, 08 | 12:43 pm

While I am a fan of how Alex Jones has long been urging people to "wake up", and expose 9/11, the global elites, the financial scam, and the general corporatacracy oppression with its boot on the throat of its humanity...I find he can sometimes be a bit too "right wing". Maybe Im just too left wing though:)
I am definitely not seeing "Christ" as the answer, as much as it may be for some. I know that was Alex Jones biggest gripe with Zeitgeist, that it was anti Christianity/religion. But be it a bearded man in the sky, or a bearded terrorist boogeyman man in a cave...people need to believe in their myths:) Thing is, even right wing people like Glen Beck these days are talking about the new world order, one world government agendas, and martial law. My roommate and I are huge Alex Jones and anti new order movement followers. The only difference between my roomate and me is he believes in Christianity and I don't. Zeitgiest was actually the first of these documentary films that exposed us to all this and we were both eager to hear this interview especially after seeing the second movie. I am sorry to say I have lost so much respect for Alex Jones now. He did not keep an open mind and he 100 percent misinterrupted and put words in the mouth of the guy Peter Joseph. I don't believe either men are 100 correct on their views on how to solve the problems we are facing but why not have a real discussion instead of a close minded cat fight which Alex started most definetly? He then also ripped into the film today and said he was to nice to the guy. He made up even more stuff he said in the interview which definetly wasn't true.

Yeah, I noticed there ware 2 articles ripping Z:A at infowars today.
That's the problem in arguing with a right-wing dumbass. They never maintain their cool, they always act childish and start yelling and spitting out rhetoric and yada yada. The worst part of infowars is Alex. He acts just like O'reilley when someone disagrees with him. The thing with the 1st Zeitgeist movie about christianity is that most part of it is flawed and has innacurate info. But I don't care, for me and a lot of people out there, Christianity/Islamism/Judaism was always full of shit. Zeitgeist only stated what most of us already knew. Religion is a tool of control and full of lies and deceit. Oct 16, 08 | 8:02 pm

@sewn: Man I wish I knew more people like you! Im so sick of being derided as a "conspiracy nut".
Yeah Alex can get a little out there, with his occational "global warming is a hoax", "peak oil is a hoax", "Mexicans are taking over"...he sometimes takes talking points from the right wing he claims to fight. Only the big oil companies are promoting global warming is a hoax. Still, I find Alex Jones, as well as David Icke and other noted controversial speakers quite interesting. Hell I even liked William Cooper. (Interesting both Alex Jones and William Cooper were saying on their radio program in the summer of 2001 that the new world order would stage a massive terror attack using their asset bin Laden) I think Alex Jones is just butthurt that Zeitgeist has become this huge online "conspiracy" video sensation, and he didnt have his name on it. Im still a fan of a lot of Alex Jone's documentaries, like Martial Law 9/11 or End Game. Oct 16, 08 | 8:12 pm

Sewn - I feel the same, he acted like an ass, but it wouldn't be the first time. Another issue I have is his backing of the gold standard as opposed to government issued debt free money, such as Lincoln's greenback.

I think this is a must see documentary:
The Money Masters - How International Bankers Gained Control of America "The powers of financial capitalism had a far-reaching plan, nothing less than to create a world system of financial control in private hand...all » "The powers of financial capitalism had a far-reaching plan, nothing less than to create a world system of financial control in private hands able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world as a whole...Their secret is that they have annexed from governments, monarchies, and republics the power to create the world's money..." THE MONEY MASTERS is a 3 1/2 hour non-fiction, historical documentary that traces the origins of the political power structure that rules our nation and the world today. The modern political power structure has its roots in the hidden manipulation and accumulation of gold and other forms of money. The development of fractional reserve banking practices in the 17th century brought to a cunning sophistication the secret techniques initially used by goldsmiths fraudulently to accumulate wealth. With the formation of the privately-owned Bank of England in 1694, the yoke of economic slavery to a privately-owned "central" bank was first forced upon the backs of an entire nation, not removed but only made heavier with the passing of the three centuries to our day. Nation after nation, including America, has fallen prey to this cabal of international central bankers. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-515319560256183936 Oct 16, 08 | 8:18 pm

Funny cartoon. Not sure what the search for WMD's has to do with me??? Although, they are going to need to get some of those digital converters for the TV sets before we go 100% digital next year. Did you know that it is really a charade for the real plan, the Anti-Christ (the true leader of the New World Order) will be taking control of our minds with mind control transmissions hidden within the resonant frequencies. The funny thing about the "conspiracy" types is that they consist of people from both the Left and the Right. Both the Let & Right can agree, there is a master plan at work here. Sigmedia: My point with the cartoon was that in 2003, people like me, the Dixie Chicks, Michael Moore, ect were considered "conspiracy nuts" and "unPatriotic" for saying Bush was lying to go to war and that the war was wrong. Now a majority of Americans agree. It's no longer a "conspiracy theory".
What's a "conspiracy type"? Theres a big difference between exposing well proven coverups and talking about Bigfoot grey Elvis reptillians. And its funny, people thought RFID chip implants, plans for martial law, an economic crash, end of habeus corpus, ect was all "fringe conspiracy talk" at one point. Hey, trust me...I WISH I could go back to being a typical mainstream "Democrat", where the government was merely *ahem* "incompetent". I've noticed a lot of "anti conspiracy" sentiments even in other undergrounds where you think people would be more skeptical of the media and governments Oct 17, 08 | 12:50 am

Xeno:
It's great that the Dixie Chicks agreed with you! :D Still, WMD's not being found in Iraq can mean a number of things. They were moved, Bush lied, Bush was lied to, The CIA was lied to, the CIA lied... who the hell knows. What "well proven" cover-up are you referring to? I know of none....I see lots of people telling everyone what they think the facts really are (and were), and then arguing about everything there is to argue about... not much else. Now that you bring up RFID (Digital Angel) and stuff like that... you are starting to sound more like the Christian-Right than you might realize. They have been warning people about that for over 30 years now. :D We learn from history right? History tells us that governments do lie and and the "evil" types do work thier way to the top, sometimes with daggers hidden in thier robes. As for me, I agree that this world is heading to an uncertain future. Even if every kooky idea one could dream up were true, what can you do to change it? Are you going to build a bunker in Montana and stock up on Pork N' Beans and Bio-Diesel?? :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=azjP1Aw6NBw Oct 17, 08 | 1:29 am

So, let me get this right....
To talk about government evil is "right wing patriot militia Dale Gribble conspiracy paranoia"...but even if it does come to pass, martial law and more wars...then "so what?" You said "What "well proven" cover-up are you referring to? I know of none....I see lots of people telling everyone what they think the facts really are (and were), and then arguing about everything there is to argue about... not much else."<<< Are you for real? Um, gee... Gulf Of Tonkin, Northwoods, WMD's in Iraq, "Saddam was involved with 9/11", CIA-drugs, Iran Contra, CIA coups and assassinations, Tuskegee Experiments, MK Ultra, MK Often, Project Shad, FBI orchestration of Islamic terror "sting operation entrapments", wag the dog-like fake terror alerts, White House lying about the air quality of ground zero, White House pushing fake news, and on and on and on. Hell I get called a "conspiracy nut/anti American" because I don't support a lot of the wars, especially the "war on terror". And gimme a freaking break! Scott Mclelan and Colin Powel, along with former high level CIA and Bush cabinet people CONFIRMED the neocons LIED to go to war. It's not a freaking "conspiracy theory" anymore. Yeah, Im a big right wing Christian fundie(funny, as Im not a fan of Christianity or religion in general) for warning about RFID chip implants, which England is trying to mandate for all cops and prisoners. You said "History tells us that governments do lie and and the "evil" types do work thier way to the top, sometimes with daggers hidden in thier robes. As for me, I agree that this world is heading to an uncertain future. Even if every kooky idea one could dream up were true, what can you do to change it?"<<<< Huh, so "the conspiracy theorists might be right afterall, but so what." Lovely Given your dismay you have for "conspiracy nuts", I can think of a number of industrial bands you should probably just toss right now:) Oct 17, 08 | 1:43 am

Boy, you sure do like to argue... keep that up and you may end up on meds for hypertension down the road...
I never said that you "sounding" like someone from the Christian-Right was an insult. Sorry if you think that... Regarding the "well proven facts"; you were talking about WMD's in Iraq. Not the other hundred things infowars.com sells. Some of which were not even "Uber-Secret Plots" to start with... so to start rattling off some list like it were "proof" of something is just dribble.... Gulf Of TonkinTM NorthwoodsTM WMD's in IraqTM Saddam was involved with 9/11"TM CIA-drugsTM Iran ContraTM CIA coups and assassinationsTM Tuskegee ExperimentsTM TM, TM... What does anything on that list have to do with anything anyway?? I sure as hell never said that governments of the world were squeaky clean and deserve our never ending devotion!! Is the Kool-Aid on the Left really any better than the Kool-Aid on the Right? How does any of this help you and help others? Huh, so "the conspiracy theorists might be right afterall, but so what." --- HUH??? Lovely Day Oct 17, 08 | 2:16 am

Well given the right wing Christian fundamentalists usually peddle homophobia,
religiousosity(tm) and generally anti progressive views...it's not quite my cup of tea. I can only take so much homophobia, Mexican xenophobia, "global warming is a hoax", ect propaganda so much. My point is this: What are you exactly offended or offput about? We're all "conspiracy theorists" to one degree or another. Anyone who questions the official story or accepted official meme is a "tinfoil hatter" in a way. Is it because you feel the so called "conspiracy theorists" are 1. Propagating false truths that muddy the waters? OR 2. They may be right, but they are going about it the wrong way by seeming reactionary, paranoid or themselves...fearmongering? You keep mentioning goofy cold war era 'bomb shelter' nostalgia. Remember, it was not "conspiracy theorists" peddling that...it was our own damn government. Oct 17, 08 | 3:34 am

I saw an INFOWARS.COM sticker on the bumper of a SUV in front of me the other day. Considering I live in stereotypical suburb-land, I found this pretty interesting.
I've never listened to the Infowars show but I've heard Alex Jones plenty of times on Coast To Coast AM and even if I don't agree with a lot of what he says, he's definitely a charismatic and interesting interview. Oct 17, 08 | 5:05 am

Pff... after taking a quick look at the video above it's clear why Alex acted the way he did on the interview. Pure jealousy....
While Peter Joseph seeks anonymity (that's not even his real name), Alex acts just like a "known Side-Line figure" who goes "HAI GUYZ LOOK AT ME! LOOK AT MEEEEE!!!!!" It looks like he wants to lead a whole anti-government movement with him on the front line as a poster boy. Grow the fuck up Alex. Oct 17, 08 | 7:14 pm

lol ... well, they do have fundamentally different viewpoints which can result in arguments. I'm glad Alex is passionate because it was drives him to continue, but he starts yelling and getting out of control at times which makes him come off as being an asshole, but he's well meaning. Alex is a good guy, too much testosterone ;)
