I think you are mixing up the single and the album. The first single, "Let the Wind Erase Me" came out August 23rd. The album doesn't come out until September 28. There will be a second single out November 8th.

And yeah from what i have heard the albums date to be out in North America is September 28th i have not heard of any change of push back on the date.

Yeah, you should be able to find anything in this genre through Isotank.com or the Metropolis homepage. Isotank has a better selection (more import & rare stuff) but Metropolis has better customer service.

Let's not forget that there's a European edition of the album with (if memory serves) a poster. Hmmm, can't remember if that was all.

I think its right up there with "Failure".

i've listened to the album, and quite honestly, i'm disappointed with this release. no new ideas, its just the same old sound to me....i loved "contempt", "failure", and "defiance", but this was just a step backwards from A23, imo....so id have to say this is the first a23 album that isnt great in my book, it's actually average...didnt expect to think that.

well, as the old adage goes, 'opinions are like a**holes, everyone's got one'....but I think lahloo is going to end up a bit lonely with his analysis.

It's a terrific album.

Personally I think this is A23's stronger release to date.

But of course, everyone reacts differently to music... it's all about feeling it, and everyone has his own set of feelings.

anything i've heard so far hasn't blown my mind. i've been quite impressed with the song-writing on the other albums, especially the last 2, but i have yet to hear that or any sign of progression from this new one. i'll have to give it a full listen soon.

hands down, best A23 album since Failure. I liked the last disc, but only found three track of it to really stick in my head...i think thats a measure of something, if i listen to it once and then BAM! its in my head for days then it must be fairly powerful...then again..."oops I did it again" got caught in my head....along with "In my country there is problem" By Borat of Da Ali G show.

...at first i didnīt want to buy the new one because of some not realy good reviews here in germany and the tracks on some mag cdīs also didnīt catch my attention. now i have the full cd and itīs very good. if you like futurepop or euro dance itīs perfect. high level of production...

That's the way I am...people say 'oh, this or that album has to grow on you'. Uh uh, first listen I will know if it blows me away. I've heard some people mention the new A23 cd is way too happy/touchy feely perky(ie: the chorus of 'Ground') I will always think Failure is to A23 what Empires was to VNV...that perfect every track rocks sort of way. Opened, only three songs really stood out for me, but as a fan of sugary candy coated synth, smart lyrics, and stompyness "Storm" get's two thumbs up and a plate of waffles from me. ("Regret" is by far my fave song on there)

I think it's his best work yet. The beat to "Skin" rocks my socks, "Ground" makes me singe LOUDLY in the car, "Complacent" makes me want to dance, and "30kfeet" made me cry like a baby. I like all the songs but those are my favorites.

Wasn't to impressed with it, actually thats an understatement...I didn't like it at all. Same monotone voice. Same club floor beats. Although one thing I did like about it was that it had a brighter somewhat happier feeling to it. But other then that I think he just changed some of the noises in the Fruityloops A23 preset and called it a new album.

That's actually what he did.

No really, go ask him. I've been to his studio and I shit you not - all he has is Fruityloops, an old Casio synth with MIDI control and a Commadore Vic-20.

"doesn't he just have it all sitting on top of a BIGASS pile of cash too!!?"

He flaunts it, too. Riding around his his pimped-out Bentley, all bling-bling n' shit. MTV tried tracking him down for an episode of "Cribs", but he couldn't be bothered by them. He actually said (and I quote) "I'm above MTV - I don't need them, they need *ME!*"

Then he poured out a whole bottle of Cristal. Fuckin' dick.
