Did any of you send this to me? I have a lot of haters so I am trying to figure which person put all this time and energy into this letter that was anonymously sent to me.
For some reason I can't stop laughing. Dear Reject KUNTwire, Way to blitzkrieg the scene all militant like Laibach never existed. I'm really impressed by your use of lackluster aesthetics that died in the early 90's. Why don't you blow us all away with your "Electronica / Industrial / Punk" myspace profile?? In it, you claim to espouse "themes of political dissent, female empowerment, war, (internal and external) torture, insanity, contradictory aesthetics, the devaluing of the human condition, and a post-apocalyptic future". Right, so you're telling me couch surfing to any home studio that will take you, out of pity or ignorance, and teasing dicks for free drugs so you can scream into someone else's microphone and have them mix it in isolated misery for months while parading your non-existent tits in gothic strip clubs makes you "the mechanical goddess of the underworld"? Way to make a case for the devaluing of the human condition and leading by example, loser! Way to show your Jewish pride!! HAHAHAHAHA!! Why don't you just KILL yourself? It doesn't know whether it wants to be full-on stompy or jerkily edgy and falls somewhere in the middle. It's just not much of anything, I'm afraid, and sounds like it been made specifically to sound ominous/threatening without any real understanding of the emotions that underpin those feelings. It really doesn't work with the vocals, either, which sound like someone reading from a book. It reminds me slightly of Athamay who had a quite nice spoken-word female vocalist but the predictable distortion really ruins it for me.

I don't hate it, I just...meh...it barely registers, to be honest, and for something that's touting itself as edgy and confrontational that's a big failing. I think you should spend some time looking at what's already been done in aggro-feminist art (people like Lydia Lunch or Xene Cervenka, maybe) to find a new path.
Keep on doing your stuff but be aware that a HUGE AMOUNT of very feminist women find this kind of thing very cliche and very old. Think about who you're trying to support and why.
