Q: How can I book an advertisement in your print magazine?
A: For the booking of your advertisement, we recommend that you get in touch with
seba@side-line.com. You will find all advert prices and deadlines on our “advertisement” section. Sizes are mentioned in millimetres. Please do not forget to add 3mm bleeding on the left, top, right and bottom margins of your advertisement. You cannot put important graphic elements or texts in the bleed because it will be cut after printing; fill the bleed with the background image or colour.

You must send your advertisement in one of the following formats:
    - file per e-mail (or link where to download it from)
    - file on CDR (please include a print proof & the special fonts that you used)
    - films (please include a print proof)

    Per e-mail:
    - design@side-line.com
    - cc: seba@side-line.com

    Per post:
    Séba Dolimont
    rue charles degroux 90
    1040 Bruxelles - Belgium
    tel/fax: 0032.2.732.14.81
    e-mail: seba@side-line.com

We recommend that you send us your material in grayscale mode - JPG files of mid-quality at the least! (Quality 8 is fine) with a resolution of 300 dpi.
We do the layout of the magazine on a Mac but can usually open all types of PC files.

Q: How can I book a banner on your website?
A: For the booking of your banner advert, we recommend that you get in touch with
seba@side-line.com. You will find all banner prices on our “advertisement” section.

Q: What is the current circulation of side-line magazine?
A: Since 2003, each issue of Side-Line has a circulation of 6000 copies of which over 90% of the pressing is sold (and 5% are used for promotion)! Thanks to an impressive growing subscribers community and a very focussed distribution network, Side-Line sells more copies now than when it had a worldwide circulation of 25000 copies sold through the traditional press distribution medium. Never forget: what counts above all is the quantity you sell, not the quantity you print!! This also allows Side-Line to offer much more affordable prices for advertisements than any other magazine on the scene.

    Q. Does Side-Line organise parties, concerts & festivals?
A: No, not at all. Although Side-Line is the official media partner for the promotion of some events, concerts and festivals, we are not involved with any event organisations. We leave that task to specialists in the field.

    Q. Who should I contact according to the questions that I have?
    A. To make sure your e-mail directly reaches the right person, we prepared a list of possible questions along with the appropriate contact:
    - For details about subscriptions, change of addresses, order delivery, product prices, distribution, etc. shop@side-line.com
    - For details about advertisements, on-line banners, booking, sponsoring, partnership deals,

    - To get interviews, articles, reviews, etc. in our printed magazine.
    info@side-line.com
    - To become a staff member of Side-Line (printed magazine or website). info@side-line.com
    - To get your website added to our link section.

joined by mailing to this addres.
After the decline of Electrogarden we started our very own forum..

Q: How can I get my products sold via your e-shop?
A: We no longer sell others' products in order to guarantee a better service to our current partners and concentrate only on the Side-Line related products. Please remember that our main job is informing people, not selling goods. We therefore prefer working with the specialised mail-order companies that we recommend on our website.

    Q. I’d like to get interviewed in your magazine, what do I have to do?
    A. First make sure promo material of your project has been sent to our HQ in Brussels: seba dolimont - 90 rue charles degroux - 1040 brussels - Belgium. When interested, our
co-chief editor will directly contact the artists that he wants to interview for our magazine. But you can always feel free to contact him at
    stef@side-line.com or our
    chief-editor bernard@side-line.com.

    Q. I want to publish my hot news on your website, how can I do this?
    A. Simply send your news piece in English to bernard@side-line.com and always add links or your sources when necessary. If you want to post several messages about the same event (concert, festival, etc.), please resend your news every 15/20 days or so.
Do make sure that in that case our Side-Line logo is added on flyers, posters etc. We recommend that you send us short news items that we can immediately use in our news section. We will NOT translate, so if not written in English, it will not be
    published.

Q: I want to receive your newsletter or get it sent to my friends as well, how can I do this?

All official releases are reviewed in our printed magazine and the best demo’s are reviewed on our website.

Q: Do you run statistics? How many people visit Side-Line online?
A: Each day more than 6000 unique visitors pass by, which makes Side-Line to be the biggest online resource for underground - electronic - ebm - gothic - darkwave - industrial music. Together with its very popular newsletter, Side-Line has become a major key player in promoting events, bands and releases.

    Q. How can I get a subscription to your printed magazine?
    A. Please check our e-shop section where you can order subscriptions starting with the issue you want. • Black Lung - If the Devil invites you to dinner, do you accept? Of course you do!

  • [SITD] - Ultimately the most important thing is the result, not the fact if an artist makes use of popular software programs or good-old synths
